Truly a 3 star hotel. You get what you paid for. I booked this hotel online and when I arrived I immediately noticed several things were in a state of disrepair. The hotel could use a series of renovations. From the paint in the elevator to the damaged furniture, this building gives off haunted hotel vibes due to its eerie lignting. BUT - The staff was friendly and accomidating. They allowed me to use the pool after I checked out and they answered all my questions to the best of their ability. I get the feeling they have lots of work to do to renovate and "fix" this hotel. But it is a perfectly cromulent place to spend a night. The pool is in a separate structure outside, but it is massive and features a sauna which I didnt have time to try. Summary: needs a deep clean from top to bottom

Housekeeping and front desk staff were great. The room was clean, and well-appointed but a little worn as you would expect from a budget hotel. The shower drained a little slow, but housekeeping took care of that for us. The room is huge. The microwave, fridge and TV work well. There is plenty of hot water. There is a large desk, dresser, three chairs, two bedside tables. The location is right next to Oakland County International airport, but plane noise is not a problem. There is a grocery store and pharmacy as well as a couple fast food restaurants, coffee shop, food truck, and Thai carryout restaurant within walking distance. Recently I had some issues with my house and needed an affordable place to stay for my kids, and dogs which only complicated things. We stayed here for 2 nights. At 40 dollars a night you should know what to expect. They do help to house the homeless when it's really cold. I believe charitable organizations may house people here because of its cost effectiveness. Anyway with that you know what you are getting. The rooms have jetted tubs in them which is really nice. The kids loved playing in that. They also have an Olympic size swimming pool that is Very Nicely Heated. They do not offer breakfast but that's another reason it's so affordable. This happened to be one of the dirtiest hotels I’ve ever seen in my life first one they gave me fridge raider was moldy bed was dirty bathroom disgusting so I asked for another one the second one the same thing food all over the top of the dresser crumbs that was broken sus but all the walls the carpet with sticky it stunk the pool was filthy. Yes, it is a cheap hotel, but still could still be kept clean. I will never go back. I used to go there all the time the people that work there are great they just need to keep it clean. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Upon arrival, the hallway reeked of cat urine and marijuana, which should have been an immediate red flag. Unfortunately, it only got worse. I had booked three rooms. One room smelled strongly of sewage, another reeked of cigarettes, and none of them felt clean or habitable. When we went to the front desk to request a different room, we were told the hotel was fully booked and were flat-out denied any alternative accommodations. We were also told we could not check out. After explaining that we would not be staying due to the conditions and would be requesting a refund, the staff escalated the situation in an unacceptable way. They locked us out of all three rooms and then refused to issue a refund, even though we did not stay in t
