We had an absolutely wonderful weekend stay at Amaya Bed & Breakfast. From the very first moment we arrived, the owner, Johnny, made us feel genuinely welcomed and completely at home. He gave us a thoughtful tour of the property and shared fascinating details about its history, which immediately set the tone for a special stay. Walking inside, we were blown away by how beautiful and cozy the space is. The décor strikes the perfect balance between classic and modern — tasteful, elegant, and incredibly inviting. I spent the most wonderful weekend at Amaya, which is an upscale Guesthouse nestled in the Catskills. Johnny is an exceptional host who makes every guest feel cared for and welcomed. The house itself is stunning, even more beautiful than the photos. There is thoughtful detail everywhere. My stay was peaceful, restorative, and exactly what I needed. The river, fire pit, and jacuzzi created the perfect meditative backdrop, and Johnny’s breakfasts (especially the avocado and French toast!) were unforgettable. His recommendations for hikes, local towns, and dinner spots were spot on. I arrived stressed and left rejuvenated. This place has a healing vibe that’s hard to describe. Whether you’re traveling solo, with friends or family, or hosting an event, you won’t be disappointed. Absolutely H

I booked one night stay at Amaya to celebrate my partner’s birthday. I cannot recommend this place enough. We had the corner room on the second floor, overlooking the creek. It feels relaxing to wake up near nature. Amenities wise, the room has super comfortable bed mattress and pillows. We also had access to the entire house: living room + the bar + the kitchen + the attic + the patio. We had a great time soaking in the hot tub, especially when it was snowing outside. In terms of cleanliness, the house was spotless. We didn’t wear shoes in the house, and we also tried to be mindful of the space as if it was our own! As for location, we were 5 mins away from Dollar General Store (be sure to check for expiration date if you shop there). And we were 20-30 mins from cute towns and restaur

I love Amaya House! Very homey and beautiful at same time. Lots of books and crannies to escape to and curl up and read a book. A nice grand piano too. Close to cool shopping and interesting restaurant so some that’s to do close by. The host bakes really yummy cakes for breakfast.

Amaya’s Guesthouse is an absolute must-stay! What an incredible experience! Johnny is fantastic—he welcomed my wife and me with a huge smile, gave us a warm tour of the house, and shared its fascinating history. The place is full of good energy and great vibes!
