If Google allowed more than five stars, Amangiri would deserve them all. This place is not just a resort — it’s an experience that feels almost otherworldly. Set in the middle of the vast Utah desert, the surroundings are simply breathtaking. The dramatic rock formations, endless open skies, and peaceful silence create a sense of beauty and calm that’s hard to describe. There are several scenic trails around the property, allowing you to explore the landscape and truly connect with the raw beauty of nature. The service here is exceptional. Every staff member we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making the stay perfect without ever feeling intrusive. Dining was another highlight. Both restaurants offer excellent food with thoughtful menus and beautifully present

I slept for 24 hours at Amangiri, and it was the most restorative experience of my life. Nestled among stunning desert landscapes, the resort feels like another world—quiet, serene, and timeless. Every detail, from the architecture blending into the canyon walls to the peaceful atmosphere, invites you to fully relax. Amangiri isn’t just a hotel, it’s a sanctuary where time stands still.

This was our second stay at Amangiri, our first being back in 2018. It was just as spectacular as I remembered it being. Our first stay was in May and we loved doing the via ferrata and getting the transcendental four hands massage at the spa. This time we stayed in December so it was too chilly for outdoor activities but the resort was sooooo cozy with all of the wood burning fireplaces crackling and the spa is incredible no matter the outdoor temperature. Impeccable service and delicious food rounded out our stay. Hopefully it won’t be another 8 years between visits!

This is the best hotel I’ve stayed at in the United States. By a mile. The food is all top Michelin level…the fact that you can eat unlimited amounts makes you feel giddy in the most magical way. Everything on the property smells and sounds amazing….its like the entire grounds are a spa. you are paying for the classy service that isn’t smothering, anticipates your needs and excels in privacy. If you appreciate Native American culture, the art on property and the evening performers are the real deal. Also, if you are seasonal between Arizona and Colorado, it’s a perfect stopping point to cut up the drive. Thanks for putting up with Yoshi. Glad we found you, we will be back through on our commutes.
