Amador Harvest Inn

Located a few minutes from Plymouth, in Amador County is the most perfect place to stay while wine tasting at the numerous, and beautiful wineries in the area. As part of Deaver Winery, you are out in the lovely wine country amongst all it’s beauty. Amador Harvest Inn is a small inn/ B&B comprising of 4 rooms. We like the Zinfandel room,because it is the largest with a king bed. But Chardonnay is wonderful with its balcony/deck . They are all nice. What makes the Inn special is Ginger who is running it. So thoughtful catering to your every need. And the breakfast is super. Cute little inn/house - I love how the rooms are named after different types of wines. This is part of the Deaver property and they have a tasting room right next door - I would definitely recommend a visit there! While staying here at the inn, we met another couple and hung out with them on the patio in the evening. There are so many other vineyards and tasting rooms nearby so that was nice. The property also has a lake so you can go for a stroll around if you wish. ROOM We got the Chardonnay room which has a shared deck with the room next door. No one was ever out there though so we had it to ourselves - it was nice to enjoy wine there and play a couple rounds of board games. The room had everything we needed. We spent two nights here, along with my husband's brother and his wife. The Amador Harvest Inn is located on the Deaver Winery property. The setting is pastoral, with a beautiful pond, green grass, trees and a vineyard next the the B & B. It is pure heaven to sit on the large covered back porch and gaze out at the beautiful scenery while drinking your morning coffee, or sipping a glass of wine in the late afternoon. Tara, the innkeeper is a joy! She makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk through the door. Her breakfasts are delicious and filling and the afternoon glass of Deaver wine and Tara's appetizers were wonderful. Amador Harvest Inn is located in a serene and beautiful winery vineyard over looking Deaver Pond, in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley wine country of Amador County, Ca. This small Inn consist of 4 ensuite rooms all on the second floor. We enjoyed the Zinfandel Room, a very spacious romantic room with a very comfortable king bed. There are lovely spacious common rooms for everyone to enjoy on the first floor and a great covered porch looking out on the pond where you can relax sip your wine, read your book or just watch all the birds.||You are greeted by Tara the innkeeper who is so nice and helpful going out of her way to accommodate all your needs. It was Memorial Day weekend and at the last minute we decided to go to our favorite area to wine taste. All our preferred places were booked up and I found a minimum 2 day stay at the Amador Harvest Inn. ||This bed and breakfast has the most beautiful view in the area. We chose the Chardonnay room which shares the balcony with another room which worked out great for us, since no one booked the room next door. You absolutely get the morning sunshine in this room. ||The inn-keeper Tara is a delightful gal who runs the B&B. She provides a glass of wine and a snack at 5pm. You can choose your wine since the B&B is on the property of the Deaver Winery. ||The breakfast is a full course meal which will send you off for a day of wine tasting and you can without a doubt skip your lunch. ||I think
