Aloft Corpus Christi

This is the lowest review I've ever given a Marriot property. The bathroom had lose floor tile that rocked when stepped on. The shower was full of hair. The desk clerk this morning sure loves her phone. The coffee was very poor quality. I'm lifetime gold status and this is the worst room and overall experience I've had in 35 years staying at marriott properties.

This is the only hotel I stay at when I visit corpus. The staff is always so attentive when i bring up any concerns and do what they can. I love that they have a plant-based breakfast, the rooms are always pristine and very spacious - plenty of tables and extra space - and that they allow pets to stay. I will say if you are a light sleeper to request a room on the opposite side of the club. My room was on the opposite side this time and I didn’t hear anything at all - slept soundly each night.

I was expecting more from Aloft but left pretty underwhelmed. The room was extremely humid. Everything felt damp, including the bedding and furniture, which made it uncomfortable. The hotel felt a bit dated and not as modern as I expected. Also, there was no free breakfast, which is something most hotels in this price range offer. Overall, not great value. I don’t plan to stay here again.

Positive: The location. Negative: We have stayed there before and loved it. But know the hotel is starting to look run down. The room we were in first the grout was missing and the tile was lose. So we changed rooms. And in that shower water was going all over the floor.

Hotel is awesome, amazing staff. We LOVED all they had to offer. beautiful pool, nice rooms, and an amazing bar! the bartender Rob was so kind and attentive! he made our drinks to perfection, beautiful clean bar!! we had a great experience:) overall, we very much recommend!
