Almeda Campground

Best spot to start your Rogue river trip! The campground is quiet and clean and has the kindest host we've come across in the US. Highly recommend it!

TRULLY AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE! camp ground is kept very nicely, speed limit is enforced, water/ boat ramp access less than a 5 minute walk from the campsites! Super dog friendly (which was incredible for a group with 6 dogs and a lot of barking) and the camp host? My goodness she was the best camp host I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, I believe her name was Claudia (excuse the spelling). She was so full of life and very helpful when it came to any questions or comments we had! After having more than one poor experience at camp grounds, she brought the beauty back to the surface! If anybody had the chance to go visit this camp ground I HIGLY recommend it, only if you want to have a great time though!!

Canceled my reservation cause they closed the river for all permit holders so people that are last minute canceling they said they wouldn't refund us. Enjoy the money won't be staying there on my permit for next year.

Great campground for tent camping. Sites are pretty close to each other. Lots of river traffic using the boat ramp can be obnoxious. The camp host this year, Claudia, is awesome. Best camp host the Josephine county parks has. Very helpful, and the stinky pit toilets were actually pretty clean.

Claudia is amazing! Incredible sense of humor, great attention to the camp and campers, as well as the day use area. Always smiling and goes above and beyond to make everyone happy. Made my buddy Bobby's birthday trip even more memorable. Thank you Claudia!
