Allen Park Motor Lodge

We checked in Saturday night with Shawn quirky guy but really friendly makes you feel welcome. Great snack shop and the room was nice and clean. Checkout Sunday was a little different the front desk guy I didn't catch his name and he didn't offer it was rude and unprofessional. While waiting on my refund we had to listen to him complain about and berate Shawn. Overall good place we'll stay again we'll just wait away from the window next time.

Stayed here for like 3 months! Owner is amazing as are all of his room attendant staff! Got a couple employees i could have done with out but all in all I had a great time here. Rooms are super clean no bugs. Worked with us when had some power issues in a room moved us to a new room. Not bad prices either for long term staying cheaper than alot of places.

Stayed here on a trip to Detroit to see a concert. I absolutely could not recommend it more highly! It's an easy 15 minute drive to downtown, and conveniently for me, on the south side of town so on the way home. I checked a lot of reviews before booking my room because I couldn't believe it would be this nice for the price but it actually was. Even moreso! The room was clean, comfy and spacious. There was a really nice big window that overlooked a quiet, tree lined neighborhood street. I saw some previous reviews that complained about street noise but if you request a room on the back side (or inside, depending on how you want to describe it, but the doors open into a hall instead of onto an outer walkway) you definitely won't have to worry about that. usually when you get a place this cheap you expect it to be a little dirty and ghetto, but i promise you’d be surprised how nice the rooms are for the price. the man at the front desk is always super nice, the rooms are always super super clean. pillow cases and sheets smell freshly washed, even the microwave smells sanitized. i usually bring my own blanket to hotels and just sleep on top of the blankets provided cuz it grosses me out, but you can tell they really clean every inch. super clean, warm, friendly, and it’s a reasonable price.

My wife and I Reserved a room here. We were pleasantly surprised with our experience. We have read some of the reviews. Well let me tell you. Look at the dates on those reviews. This is NOT your fathers MOTOR LODGE Staff was wonderful. It was exceptionally clean. And from what we were told they are always making updates and improvements. Thank you for making our anniversary extra special
