All Suites Inn Budget Host

The people who work here are hardworking, kind and helpful. We stayed here for Bucknell’s Parents Weekend. We decided to go for proximity over luxuries. It was exactly what we expected. The walls are thin, so you hear your neighbors, it’s a bit worn out, but it was clean. The hardest part of the stay was the cleaners they use had a very strong chemical smell. We were on the lower level which is a walkout basement, so there’s no cross breeze. Despite leaving the windows open, we couldn’t air the smell out. We both had headaches from the smell. It would be safer for the cleaning staff and guests if they switched to a vinegar and water solution. We didn’t put DND on the door when we left, so they cleaned it the second day too. Ugh!

Do not let the other reviews (from years ago) alarm you. This was a clean, spacious and incredibly comfortable bed for the price. Yes, its not a Hilton but its affordable and clean. We stayed a night before the PSU football game and it was the perfect stop for us. The shower was clean and had good water pressure. Toilteries are available. The bed is comfy with a firm mattress. We did not use the heat or air conditioning in bedroom but opted to leave bedroom door open and have living room air conditoning circulate, with no issues. The tv worked and the kitchen was adequate. I checked in here but had to get a refund. This led to driving around at 9pm looking for another hotel. The room was filled with dead bugs and the sheets were stained. I am not fussy but this room was not clean and I was traveling to visit Bucknell with my daughter and did not feel safe here. I live and work in the city and I do not scare easily. I feel bad because it seems like the owner lives and works at the hotel, but they need to clean it up. |Don't stay here.

Well, I booked via Priceline. 1 queen bed. Double Occupancy. Get there and they don't have the room booked. Tried to move us into a room that was not anything like what we booked. When we insisted that we wanted the rooms that had a separate bedroom, had a kitchenette, and living room; they tried to charge us more than what we booked at for the queen, because they only had a King available. I told them that this was not our fault. We legit booked the room hours before we got there and that they should honor the price we booked at. With some crap they did. Well, the room was atrocious. You can tell the room hadn't been cleaned in some time from all the cobwebs in the corners and what looked like cigarette ash on the sheets in the bedroom. There were no towels or other toiletries.
