Alhambra RV Park

This is a really sweet little campground. My spot "J" is definitely a spot to request... right along a stream, with sounds so full of nature when relaxing outside. Deer often wandered though, wading in the water. The stream winds throughout the park. I enjoyed walking my dogs and they loved crossing the bridges overlooking the streams. The dog park is well kept and spacious too. My dogs really enjoyed it. Both showers run nice and hot. Was great to have a heated bath house! Washers and dryers on-site are reasonably priced and work well. They have propane and firewood available. Its right off the highway, but noise-wise I can't say it was very bothersome at all. It was very quiet at night and I rested well. Any long-term campers I came in contact with were super friendly. I got a flat tire

We are on a 6 week Pacific Northwest motorhome trip. We have NEVER had a campground this bad. Yards away from busy freeway. So loud you can hardly talk outside. Many, many full timers here. Very junky, low rent rigs. Plastic flowers, no sewer, branches hang low and scratched our RV. Can’t see the site numbers. Sketchy bathrooms. Don’t fall for their website description of this park!

The good: it was very affordable and does have a pretty creek that goes through the campground. The bad: it is literally on the shoulder of the interstate so you hear traffic noise constantly. It has smelly pit toilets. The shower area could use some renovation and cleaning. Many of the campers are long-term and have their personal junk spread around. It’s a cheap place to spend the night but nowhere that you would want to stay for a vacation. We thought it was funny that our campsites water faucet was positioned over the electrical (see photo).

Didn't mind the highway noise, but I didn't realise booking thru a 3rd party that charged $14. What didn’t make sense is the dump site is at left of driveway, so it's difficult to dump tanks on way out, unless you back up all the way to it and then out of the park itself. Who dumps on entering a place? Also, there was no water tap for rinsing tanks or hoses.

Alhambra RV Park is a small campsite located between a highway and a freeway and sometimes it is a little bit noisy but it is located in the middle of the forest which helps a lot to forget about the noise and admire the panorama. The people in the office are very friendly and I have seen that they try to keep that place clean, however some campers are sometimes dirty and inconsiderate. I spent 3 weeks there and always enjoyed the beautiful view that this facility offers.If someone really wants to camp this is the perfect place, sometimes people forget what "camping" really means and demand to have the amenities of a 5 star hotel. To me camping is a way to live simply and away from busy life.
