Algonkin Motel LLC

My husband and I stayed in this motel for one night while in New York. The price was fantastic. In 2025, it's hard to find a place to stay for only $73 in the US. Our room was clean. It offered a single and double bed. It also had a microwave and refrigerator. It was not the quietest as floors and walls were thin. We could hear someone coughing from another room in the wee hours of the night. They do not offer any breakfast, but a few restaurants are only a couple of minutes down the road.

Stayed here a couple of years ago while going to the Unadilla motocross race. I came into town really late and had to call the number to get checked in. The lady had a little grumble in her voice (I don't blame her) because I was really late, but she gladly came down to the office with a smile and got me checked in. The beds and bathroom were clean. Nice little town down the road for breakfast too. Would def stay there again.

I called ahead to ask about availability and policies. During the call, the person I spoke with made assumptions about my dog barking and about me leaving him in my RV, which was unnecessary and inaccurate. For clarity, my RV is fully heated and set up for safe, responsible travel. Rather than simply stating availability, the conversation felt dismissive and unwelcoming. I was eventually told they were fully booked with construction workers, which could have been communicated upfront without the added commentary. Based on the tone and lack of professionalism during the call, I chose not to stay.

Very awesome motel! The room is very clean. The staff is very professional, helpful and friendly. I am very pleased and grateful. Beautiful area!

wonderful place I’ve been in four hotels and motels in the area in the last few months and I can tell you this is one of the best but not only has a nice clean rustic feel to it, but the rooms are immaculately clean the lighting is wonderful. It is very big room and all the amenities are there that are needed. The only thing I noticed was a lack of facial tissue no big deal at all very impressed. The best place for its price anywhere that I’ve been in years. I’m staying there now and I’ll let you know later how I feel about it again perhaps good job. The view outback is a beautiful view of the Susquehanna river.
