Albany Merchants Hotel

Great food, the lower room worked great for 3 guys ,even the pull out couch was comfortable. I locked my phone in the room when we left, they came and let me back in w a smile very early in the am. Highly recommend.

This is a beautiful historical boutique hotel dating back to 1885! The Albany Merchant Hotel represents the next chapter in the life of a nearly 137-year-old building, once known as the "Merchants Hotel." We were welcomed into cozy, apartment-like suites, complete with mini refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, dinnerware and silverware, coffee pot, etc., ||The clawfoot tub was very relaxing; the color scheme thoughout the spacious lofty rooms is beautiful and kitchen cabinets with soft close in dark wood. Gorgeous! ||||Bed was very comfortable, nice to have a separate room for sitting, eating and TV away from the bedroom. ||||LOTS of outlets but no single USB cable outlets for your phones with just a cord. ||||Off street parking; Barbacoa Latin restaurant and bar on premises. Perfect place. So quiet & very homey. We had a bedroom, living room with kitchenette. A balcony with patio furniture right by our room. We could not have been happier. Restaurant downstairs had delicious scratch made Margaritas. It was Fri Eve & the hotel’s restaurant did not sell fish. The staff directed us to a really good spot for fish. We will be back.

I recently stayed at the Albany Merchants Hotel for two weeks for a work trip. I had a great experience and the suite was spacious and provided me with a sitting area with fridge, sink, microwave. Everything that I needed for a long stay. The location was in the heart of the town and the host were welcoming and incredibly responsive whenever I needed anything. Thank you!

I LOVE that the hotel maintains it’s original characteristics with some modern updates. This design and layout gives you a “home” experience while having the experience of a relaxing getaway. I stayed overnight for a marathon the next morning. The bedroom has “regular” bedroom decor so felt like I was home. Yea, I slept so comfortably that I woke up later than I wanted. This rarely happens the night before a race for me. Next time I’ll explore the deck and patio.
