Gus, wrong company! AlaskaN Wilderness Outfitting Company is NOT the company mentioned in Outdoor Life. AWOC is an absolutely fabulous company that hosts guided silver salmon fishing trips on the Tsiu River as well as unique floating cabins and other lodging around Cordova, AK. My family and I have had at least 7 trips with AWOC and I can’t say enough great things about the group. 5 stars all around - from the guides/staff, lodging/meals and caring attitudes - they provide the complete package! And AWOC does not host moose hunting trips!

Katie and Tom were amazing hosts for this amazing adventure. An incredible float plane flight in to our backcountry cabin with awesome fishing all around. I could t tho k of one thing this outfitter could have done better, this was epic!

This is in my opinion and experience the best possible way to get the most out of a trip to Alaska to truly enjoy what nature has to offer in a spectacular wilderness system. Go with an open mind and prepare for the weather! Nothing like it!.

Wonderful do it yourself adventures with solitude, a ride in a sweet old DH-2 beaver to a luxury cabin in a secluded slice of heaven. Very knowledgeable and friendly hosts, Tom and Katie will give you a bucket list adventure. One of the best trips of my life in the middle of covid.

I have done 5 trips over years, mainly the floating cabin. Great people to deal with. On one trip fog kept them from flying us out. They hired a boat to do the transfer rather than have us miss a day. Extremely beautiful area. Good choice for a great vacation.
