Afton House Inn, Historic

Afton House provided a quiet and cozy atmosphere for a quaint getaway. The innkeepers were gracious hosts. I enjoyed the jacuzzi in the room, and a warm breakfast was prepared for me upon wakeup. There is a rustic charm to the whole town. There is a restaurant inside the inn, and there's another restaurant within walkable distance. Short, scenic drive up 95 to get to Stillwater.

My husband and I had the best time here. The room was so cute, the food at swirl was amazing and the staff was accommodating and friendly! Shane at the front desk was really helpful and did a great job explaining the history of the building. We will definitely be back and highly recommend checking it out!

We just had a 3 day (4 nights) meeting at Afton House Inn. Everything about our time was great. The staff and the service we received was above and beyond our expectations. The breakfast in our meeting space and the lunches at Current were also great. They paid close attention to details and met some unique dietary needs. We had one dinner in the Fine Dining Restaurant which was amazing. |Our room was clean and comfortable and we slept well. The only complaint I have is that the fall colors didn't turn in time for us!!!

2nd time at Afton House, experienced the fine dining on this visit and was nothing but exceptional. Order the Steak Diane it prepared by our waiter William table side and it was amazing. Swirl and Current have nice vibe as well with being able to get drinks from either side. Just the whole staff was great.

One word: PEGGY! From the moment we stepped foot in the Afton House Inn, Peggy made it feel like home. She is so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed and more. We genuinely did not want to leave and already can’t wait for our next trip. Shane was also amazing - walking us up to our room and making sure we were all settled and set up for an incredible weekend! Can’t wait til’ next time.
