Acorns Resort

Just a heads up, if you have reservations for a cabin and need to cancel over 4 months ahead of time you DON'T get your deposit back. Not even a partials of it. And the person I talked to was very rude. This would have been the third year we stayed there. I'm know we will move on to a better, cleaner place after this.

We had my daughters reveal party at Acorns at one of the bigger cabins, they were very accommodating with all the extra cars fhat would be coming. We also went to The Cove for dinner and they were able to seat all 14 of us together.

The retreat space is wonderful and quaint but I always leave with a dry throat, nose and skin. Wood dries up all of the air in the cabin. Great family spaces for get togethers! Maybe just bring a humidifier 👍

We rented a 2 bedroom cabin for a 4 day weekend. The cabin was clean and very nice. The upstairs bedroom is a loft room with 2 double beds and a great view overlooking the downstairs. 1 bedroom downstairs. We had everything we needed. The only thing we needed was toiletries. My fault, I read that they provided soap, shampoo and conditioner. They do however it's hotel size and I expected those items to be on the shower wall in dispensers. Not a big deal Walmart is only 10 miles away. Although the cabins are in a cul de sac they're private. Check in and out was easy. Would recommend and will definitely return.

Our family had a great experience at Acorns Resort! The 9 of us stayed for a week and never ran out of things to do. The 5-bedroom cabin was clean, comfortably cool (it was a hot week in August), and well stocked. The grounds were well-maintained. The swimming pool was great as not everyone in our group is comfortable swimming in a lake. The lake is huge! We rented kayaks and paddle boards which were in very good shape. During our week we got clean towels only once, but did so without any hassle. One of the awesome maintenance guys even helped my husband with a wheel that needed attention on the trailer we brought! I can’t say enough good things about Acorns Resort. Super friendly and super helpful staff! We’re planning our next trip there in 2026!
