AC Hotel Newtown Square

This hotel is my type of hotel. Minimal/stylistic/modern decor. Rooms are not closets, spacious, modern, simplistic, and clean! The lobby is very nice and elegant w a bar and excellent steak house attached to the hotel. The staff is very courteous and accommodating. I do have to give a special shoutout to the night attendant Ada. I forgot my Apple phone charger for my trip and went downstairs at midnight to see if they sold any by chance. They didn’t. Ada went out of her way and gave her phone charger to me to use. I am extremely grateful for the nice gesture and her going above and beyond to accommodating a hotel guest. After a tough day of travel the nice gesture brought a smile to my face.

While the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the room was impeccably clean—worthy of five stars—the rest of the room had several design issues that ultimately led me to deduct two stars.||The overall look and feel was more like what one would expect at a Hilton Spark or Tru hotel, with a very minimalist, budget-style approach. There was no comfortable place to relax and watch TV other than the bed. Seating options were limited to a low stool and a hard desk chair, paired with a very small table, which was neither practical nor inviting.||The closet is an open design, which makes it harder to forget items when checking out. While it did include a bench area that was useful for a suitcase or tying shoes, the hanging bar was positioned far too high for someone who is 5'4", making

Helen at the front desk is such a blessing!! I came to visit a family member staying at the hotel it was their birthday. Helen was able to provide me a birthday card and get the bartender to present it and had the entire room singing happy birthday!!! She was so sweet and attentive. Make sure you’re extra sweet to our girl, Helen. ❤️

Really solid stay at this location. The room was clean and comfortable as was the entire property. Also, was quiet and made for a nice night’s sleep. Check-in staff were nice folks too. Good safe and well lit location within walking distance to some convenient quick eats and drink along with plenty of free parking. It will be our “go to” spot when visiting the area!

This is a newer Marriott hotel conveniently located within Newtown Square around of a lot of surrounding businesses. A lot of its traffic is captive to said businesses. The staff are extremely attentive and friendly. Rooms are turned down/serviced every other day, but no issue to call for additional service or anything else required. Ample parking lot that's well lit with EV chargers surrounded by several restaurant choices within walking distance (breakfast, lunch, or dinner). For the few faults I could give the hotel - there are some baffling room design decisions. Why put a shower hook 10 feet away from the shower door that opens outwards on the opposite wall? And why not label the "hydration stations" on each floor to indicate that there are buttons to choose between ice/water/a mixt
