A-Win-Sands Motel

I’ve got to admit, I was hesitant to leave a review. However, I was in the hot tub and an older lady came in and sprayed chemicals into the water right next to me with no explanation. It was bizarre, and I got super itchy afterward. There are much better places a little farther out. I don’t recommend this one. The price isn’t justified — they’re charging Hilton money without any real mechanical upgrades. New carpet isn’t enough to raise prices. Keep your pool and hot tub clean if you want to charge premium rates.

The weekend snowmobiling trip we had here was fantastic. We had a group of about 40 people for an annual trip we have been doing for a few years. In the past, we were picking a different location each year. As a group we decided to keep our annual trip here at this location. The rooms were nice and clean. The Staff was very accommodating and helpful. The lobby, kitchen and pool area was great for the kids and adults to relax after a day on the trails. The trail is right out of the parking lot, gas next door. Highly Recommend It!!

The only thing I would suggest is someone that can stay at desk . I was going to stay another night but the morning desk person left before check out time and said if we leave premises the doors lock and wouldn't be able to come back in. The night clerk was very kind and helpful.

Front desk staff and house keeping was so kind. Its a small motel but its clean and located right next to gas and food. My kids enjoyed the pool.

What a wonderful experience this place was for my family and I. Geraldine was super friendly and always a pleasure to be around. Very willing to go above and beyond for the guest. My personal favorite part, the owner gave us permission to have a fire! I will DEFINITELY be returning here when I come back to visit our friends.
