7R Guest Ranch - Motel and RV Park

Probably one of the best locations I've been to. The area is secluded and beautiful! Lots of trees (should have brought a hammock!), a sweet little brook out back, a fire pit, 2 horseshoe game areas and lots of area for your puppies to run. The rooms are cabin-like and clean and homey! Would definitely stay again!

This guest ranch no longer has the ATV Trails, Horseback Riding, Bar and Restaurant have all been closed up. Only have the motel and campground. Was pretty disappointed after we planned an anniversary trip to ride our four wheelers and stay the weekend after reading through their website which stated all these activities, only to call to book and learn that new management have closed this all down. The lady on the phone was very nice to speak with and explained that things were closed down, however, it is advertised on their website and you can even pay money on there to book here with every notion to do these activities. I’m glad I called first instead of going online!

We were traveling in a 5th wheel RV. This place is nothing like their web site describes. First of all, it is not a guest ranch. It is a motel with some dusty gravel RV sites. Sites are narrow and hard to get in to. Also poorly maintained. We found that ALL of their amenities were closed! No restaurant, No bar, No AT. Trails, no horseback riding. Nothing to do. Ray Ann the manager was great but unfortunately, she doesn’t have much to work with.

My family and I have been going here for a very long time. It used to be such a wonderful place. We have not been back in 15 years but decided to stay there the 5th and 6th of July so we could fish the MO. Nothing really has changed the rooms are EXACTLY the same, small dated but comfortable. They toute that they have Internet and TV but none of that worked at all when we stayed. So you are completely off grid, as you get no cell service out there. The resturant is closed so is the bar so unless you bring food you need to go into Craig to eat. Not a bid deal they have some great places. My gotcha in all of this was being overcharged by over 100.00!! I imediatly discussed it with the person running the hotel but she said that only the owner could do the credits. The staff are amazing. The new owners are very welcoming and nice. We did not stay in any rooms because we brought our camper. The view of the woods with a creek running through is absolutely stunning. It is a quiet place in the winter and pretty busy in the summer due to the nearby fishing, hunting, and atv trails.
