Built in the 1800's, this Inn reflects the luxurious living of the original owners. Restored to its' authentic greatness, this Inn boasts 6 different unique Suites that cater to the guests' every dream of living in an opulent lifestyle. ||||My wife and I stayed in the "Bubbles & Candles" Suite, which was very elegant and enchanting. In the morning we were served a made-to-order breakfast in the pristine dining room.... with wonderful chat with the hosts, the stay there was warm & will always be a memorable experience.||||Jim & Rachel
We attended a wedding at the church next door and could only stay for one night, but we will be back. The room was pretty and the whole place full of interesting things, including antique books scattered about for the guests' enjoyment. The jacuzzi was like a small swimming pool! I loved that I could adjust the bubbles from lava pool to champagne bath. My husband and I are larger than average people with bad backs and we slept great all night, once we finished star gazing. It was great to see the Milky Way. Even in the foothills of the Berkshires, it doesn't get *that* dark at night.
My husband and I have always had a thing for B&B’s. The Four Season’s Inn of Soldier Pond would sit near the top of any listing for elite B&Bs or Boutique Hotels. The building and décor are amazing. ||I am not sure why they bring you in through the kitchen. It is the only room in the house that is not stunning. That being said, we were greeted by our “service provider” Felicia. Her welcome was warm and sweet. There is not a host, manager or owner on premises although they were readily available by phone. Felicia was our everything and she was wonderful. We passed through the ordinary kitchen into 100+yr old beauty. There are several tables set to the 9’s in dining room. The 3 common rooms have lots of old polished wood and truly comfortable sitting/conversing areas.||The secon
It was a really nice bed and breakfast. I stayed up there for two nights on business in Fort Kent.||||After an hour of trying to find the place (all directions I could find stated Fort Kent. Here it's Soldier Pond...really its Wallagrass. GAH! But the owner helped me out once she could reach me. As soon as I walked in the first thing that hit me was the smell. It smelled like an old fancy house...and I loved it. I walked through the kitchen, the small dining area, sitting room and up the stairs to my room. No one else was there and it was quiet...all of the house doors were locked and just by the feel of the place I felt comfortable. I knew three other business women would share the B&B with me (owner informed me) which was nice (no rowdy people). I immediately went downstairs in my pjs an
