16 Elm Heritage Hotel

We were in Ithaca for our sons state swim championship and didnt want the hustle and bustle of the traditional hotel in downtown Ithaca. Elm Heritage was a peaceful and tranquil retreat for us. The attention to detail and cleanliness of the South Wing Suite was top notch. The best we have experienced in years. Having everything ready for us and just being able to walk in and relax was great.

One of the finest, clean, comfortable hotels I've ever stayed. Charm and warmth that only fireplaces, wood plank floors, books. No TV distraction, but good Wi-Fi and a separate room with a good turntable to play vinyl. Fine wine and conversation has found a home. And this was in the winter with 12 inches of snow outside.

We stayed here when dropping our daughter off at Cornell. It’s an easy 25 minute drive from campus. ||The hotel is self check in but the staff is readily available. We stayed in the South Wing Suite which was beautifully appointed. It was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom and kitchen area were very nice. Coffee is provided but there is also a great coffee shop (Gimme Coffee) within walking distance. The town is small but charming with a few other food options. ||I left something behind. I called and spoke with Nicole who let me know the cleaning crew found it and she mailed it to me the same day at no charge. This level of service was representative of 16 Elm. Really extraordinary!

We had the best experience here! Room was exactly as pictured and the owners left brochures/guides to local eats and activities nearby! The honor bar was such a nice touch, as well as the multiple ice bins and coffee stations for guest use. We had a couple questions during our stay and the owner was super helpful and responded immediately! We will definitely be back!

Loved staying at 16 Elm! Having a fireplace in the bedroom in winter made our stay feel super cozy and luxurious. There weren’t any TVs, which I considered as a bonus. It was nice to just lounge about in the different unique spaces. The record room was probably my favorite, although the piano room is a close second.
