My family have enjoyed this indoor pool for years. My kids and I enjoy it still. Great family memories. It's a long the thousand islands water falls are gorgeous. The scenery is gorgeous. It's an old historic place, so it's rustic, nothing fancy. Connected to campground, picnic areas. We've gone for just because, also birthdays. Sometimes the owners family, kids have helped run it the best they can. Sometimes they've had to hire teens, adults not related and sometimes are new, just be patient. There might be spiders because it's a campground indoor but still nature settings. Being so historic I'm sure sometimes their plumbing is as good as some of us not as young anymore ourselves. Miracle was full so I stopped here instead. Rented a private room for an hour. Water was freezing cold and even with the hot turned all the way up, the pool still didn't completely warm up within the hour. Spent the entire time sitting right next to the faucet just so I wouldn't freeze. Bottom of the pool had nasty floaters. Room gave me the ick. In fact, the entire back area where the private rooms are is nasty.

They left a hose stretched out in front of the womens locker room door. My young child tripped over it hurting their hands and knees. I hollered over to the life guard to fix it that it was a hazard. We continued our stay not saying another word about it for at least an hr. Then out of nowhere I believe the manager on shift started yelling at me while I am in the pool about them using the hose that they are just doing their job. I decided then that we would leave not wanting to deal with the disrespect of this person. I even said we are leaving now. I went to get our clothes off the shelf by the womens room so we could change and leave when she came out of the woman's room yelling at me and getting in my face. The pool was cleaner than some. Paid for overnight RV space but had to pay for a 90 min swim too. Even experienced swimmers had to have an adult physically present in the pool with them, citing "legal reasons", which is uncommon and was unnecessary, especially with lifeguards on duty. Just after 8:00pm (with an 8:30pm closing time), a little girl made her rounds, rudely telling people, "you need to leave." The separate (non-pool house) bathroom/shower facilities were pretty rough. Otherwise, the area was quiet, with great riverfront access & wifi available for camp guests.

I live in South Carolina and came to Thousand Springs while visiting family. I took off my glasses while swimming so I couldn't see too much as far as signs go. While we were swimming my mom brought two plastic water bottles to the poolside because we were thirsty. Since everything is blurry I didn't see the signs saying no water at the poolside. I found out this was not acceptable at this pool when I heard an employee yelling at me across the pool. Immediately we took the bottles to our bags in the provided seating area. In a few minutes my toddler got hungry and I took her to our bags and got her a juice.
